WE HELP YOU GROW
In today’s world of instant anything and virtual everything, gardening literally grounds us. It connects us to the earth. It connects us to the seasons and their rhythms. It connects us with our families and neighbors, as we share the literal fruits of our labor.
At Garden Tribe, our goal is to create a place where everyone who sees gardening as an opportunity to grow can find instruction, resources, and community. We’re here because we believe that a spirit of curiosity and a desire to learn are the only real requirements to be a gardener.
When our students tell us why they garden, they talk about cultivating a sense of purpose and accomplishment. They talk about turning a handful of seeds into an abundance of food and flowers. They talk about the sheer pleasures of gardening – the creativity it demands, the challenges it poses, the peace it provides.
Gardening gives us a chance to learn new skills, test our resourcefulness, and work toward tangible goals. It will transform your life, if you just get started, if you just keep at it. It has certainly transformed each of ours: adding more joy in good times, and offering a quiet friendship in hard ones.
Our mission is to empower everyone in our tribe, from beginners tending their first windowsill herb garden to accomplished experts constantly seeking continuing education.
So sign up for our Food Growing Boot Camp, where we’ll take you step-by-step into the tasty world of edible gardening.
Check out our catalog of video classes featuring expert instruction from horticultural legends like Robin Stockwell, of the Succulent Gardens Growing Grounds, and Debra Prinzing, an acclaimed leader of the Slow Flowers movement.
Come read the Talking with our Tribe series on our blog. It’s full of interviews with farm owners, florists, landscape designers, and others who’ve made growing a core part of their lives. And come visit us on Facebook to share your own gardening triumphs, goals, and dramas. Hands down, your stories of gardening are our favorite part of growing this company.
